We'll start with the bad news... Unfortunately, we cannot reinstate a service once it has been terminated. Upon termination, the server is shut down, all files are deleted from our immediate systems, and IP addresses are recycled to our pool of available IPs.

The good news is that, for Minecraft servers, we guarantee file backups for up to ten days! This means that, so long as you reach out in time, we'll at least be able to get your files back to you. If this happens, you have two options:

  1. Purchase a new service, then open a support request (visit the support area in Prisma or use the blue button in the bottom-right of the website) to request the files from your old server be restored onto the newly purchased one.
  2. Open a support request (visit the support area in Prisma or use the blue button in the bottom-right of the website) and request a link from which you may download your old server's files. This option is more ideal if you know you won't have a need or the time for a server for an extended period of time. That way, you can download the files and simply come back when you're ready.

What about my TeamSpeak 3 server?
We do not retain backups for TS3 servers. If you have a snapshot saved, we'd be happy to upload it to a new server for you - just let us know once you've completed your purchase.

What about my web hosting?
Web hosting backups are not guaranteed, however, we do backup all web hosting files at least once per week. If you need a restoration or a copy of files from a web hosting service, please contact our team for more information.

What about my bare metal server(s)?
Unless you have specifically set up a specialty backup system with our team, we do not provide backups for bare metal servers.
