For your security, your card details are never stored within CubedHost systems. If you pay using a credit/debit card, the information will only be accessible to our payment processor, Stripe. Our team is only ever able to view the card type (VISA, MasterCard, etc.), expiry date, and its last four numbers.
Though we do not store your card details in our system, the details retained in Stripe allow us to automatically charge your card every billing cycle for easy service renewal.
What if I do not want to be automatically charged?
If you're paying with a credit/debit card, you can disable automatic card processing through your Prisma billing dashboard at any time. If you do not see this option available, please contact our team so we can help!
Please note that disabling automatic card processing is a global account setting that will apply to all active/future invoices subject to card payments. Unless you have enrolled in a PayPal subscription or have enabled the auto-processing for cards, payments will need to be completed manually.
If you are paying using PayPal, you will never be automatically charged unless you've opted to enroll in a PayPal Subscription. PayPal subscriptions can be canceled at any time within your PayPal account.
How do I remove my card details entirely?
Please contact us and we can have your card details cleared immediately.
If you've added multiple cards to your account, please be sure to specify whether you'd like all cards removed or a specific card.
Concerned about PayPal details we may store?
We only retain necessary transaction details (your PayPal email, transaction IDs, amounts, etc.). If you have further concerns regarding the security of your PayPal account, we suggest you contact PayPal's support team.
We will never ask you for your full card number, bank credentials, financial account numbers, or PayPal password and we highly encourage you to keep such details private in order to prevent fraud.
